For Sant Jordi Day, Imàrantia will presents new album "RetrUc" on Formentera

The Office of Culture of the Consell de Formentera is pleased to announce that the duo Imaràntia will present their latest album RetrUc at the Sala de Cultura (Cinema) of Formentera on the feast day of Sant Jordi, Sunday 22 April, at 8.30 pm.

RetrUc, a tribute to UC
Retruc finds the duo formed by singer/guitarist Maria José Cardona and Majorcan pianist Miquel Brunet sharing their unique take on the music of Eivissa and Formentera and delving into UC's musical catalogue as an expression of gratitude and recognition towards its three founding members. The captivating melodies and lyrics, which have not lost an ounce of validity, are now presented in Imaràntia's characteristic intimate and heartrending key. They will be accompanied by Eduard Riera on violin and Pep Lluís Garcia on drums and percussion.

Tickets are available on www.entradesformentera.cat for €7. Unemployed people, under-employed freelancers, retirees, under-25s, people with functional diversity, single-parent families and large families pay half price.
