Councillor Guasch and the two technicians used the meeting, which was requested by the residents of La Mola, to give details about the project and possible knock-on effects, as well as related processes of public consultation and permit requests. The councillor welcomed the chance to explain the project first hand and address concerns among area residents. Molí d'en Botigues represents a crucial part of Formentera's ethnological heritage and is one of seven flour windmills that once existed on the island. It conserves part of the mechanics which were once used to grind and turn grain into flour.
